Porto and the North

Porto and the North

Portugal was founded in the 12th century in Porto and the North regions. Known as a World Heritage city, Porto is the gateway and departure point for your adventure across the natural and cultural diversity of the region.

The region is crossed by the Douro River, which is home to much of the life along the cities, towns, and villages that it flows past.  The delicious Port and Douro wines are produced in this region of mountains and national parks, castles and shrines, Baroque architecture, and friendly people.
