    CHARM AMONG THE VINEYARDS

    Would you like to spend the day at a beautiful castle on an estate? One of our favorites produces delicious red wine. This is one of the oldest original industrial buildings in Europe. It is also one of the first “bodegas” in the region- the same family has been running the estate and winery for decades.

    During your visit we will trace the origins and history of Rioja winemaking.  In addition, you will enjoy an exquisite lunch prepared with seasonal produce.  Of course, they are carefully and expertly paired with the producer’s wines. Enjoy a spectacular setting to match this memorable wine experience- a delight for the palate and the eyes!

    VINTAGE WINE AND HERITAGE

    From the largest wineries to the tiniest, family-owned traditional cellars, we will introduce you to the best spots in La Rioja! Here, wine is essential to understand everyday life. We also create a unique experience where art, heritage and the flavor of the land go hand in hand.

    For those adventurous travelers who enjoy something truly exclusive, we know those who are “in the know”.  Visit local oil mills which produce some of the best oil in Spain.  Enjoy some hiking in the beautiful countryside of the region or try your hand at barrel-making at a small local bodega. We can open the doors to small medieval churches in the countryside where you will learn about the history of the region and enjoy exclusive wine tastings.

    RIBERA DEL DUERO

    Located north of Madrid in the region of Castile y León, Ribera del Duero produces some of the best wines.  Let us introduce take you to discover the region, its varied landscapes, the beauty of its land and sun-kissed terrains.

    Not all red wines in Spain are Riojas. Spain has 70 Denominations of Origin!  The Galician Rías Baixas, the Catalan Penedès white wines; bubbly cava and  tasty sidra await you!  Next, Spain offers the rich and deep Somontano, Toro or Ribera del Duero. Our expert wine guides await to take you to the best wineries. Let us know what interests you – we can recommend wineries surrounded by gentle hills, overlooking a medieval castle or even inside a monastery!

    THE ABBOT’S WINE

    This winery, one of the most beautiful in the Ribera del Duero region, is located on a beautiful estate by a monastery. Its production is a testament to its history and a site where the vine and the land come together. Its current owners honor and preserve its legacy —as well as its surroundings, the monastery and the vines.

    In our private visit to this astounding location you will be immersed in the secrets of the abbey. You will have an exclusive tour of the estate, exploring the vineyards and discovering the cellars.  Of course, you will also be enjoying an aperitif and venturing into the secrets of its wines.

  • Day 5

    TASTE WITH A VIEW AT A CASTILIAN ESTATE

    Not far from Madrid we will take you a privileged setting where you can toast the good life with a glass of exquisite Ribera in hand! In the heart of Castile y León is a charming estate whose vineyards produce wines with great personality. Away from the maddening crowds, you will admire some spectacular views and indulge in the local wine and food.

    Today you will learn the history of the cellars from their beginnings and discover what life is like here, where time moves slowly. Visiting the vineyards. Explore the barrel rooms and cellars. Admire the estate’s vintage selections.  You will see first-hand how attention to detail, sustainable production, and the utmost loving care for winemaking create this special winery. Spend a unique day in the countryside.
